Straightcore GWP-517VE /Outdoor Solution is (successor of GWP-207VE)

Straightcore GWP-517VE /Outdoor Solution is 5GHz solution for long-distance connections. This product is currently unavailable, it will come soon.
New generation of 5GHz products coming soon. Fully waterproof all-in-one client solution with great sensitivity, integrated 14 dB flat Ppanel directional antenna and advanced Power-over-Ethernet system with 5-port switch in PoE injector. GWP-217VE offers high transmition power up to 30 dBmW (FCC Limitation - hardware limit 34 dBmW) together with great sensitivity -102 dB. Special USB connector on ODU enables the connection of GWP-HDF directional finder which makes the installation process simple and simultaneously helps to accurate antenna positioning. The unit is delivered with complete set of accesories needed for installation, except ethernet cable. StraightCore in-house firmware development opens the door for a fast and accurate implementation of special features requested by customers. Even the basic version provides both, router and bridge mode, supporting NAT, QoS, rate control, web redirection, PPtP, PPPoE and IPSec VPN support, port forwarding, DHCP server and lots of other often requested functions. Design of the unit enables installation in both, horizontal and vertical RF polarization.

Straightcore GMT-517VE outdoor AP and Mikrotik OS

One of the leaders in European WISP market, StraightCore/Satka, which products Matrix UAB supply to Lithuanian wireless ISP, started interesting product, with Mikrotik OS level 3 inside. It is Straightcore GMT-517VE outdoor AP.

Final answer for request from many customers to start producing Mikrotik-based outdoor units, as a combination of high-quality routerboards and great possibilities of Mikrotik operation system. Equipped with mikrotik Level 3, fully pre-set and working. Upgrades for this system are possible over mikrotik website - check links section.

The unit is based on the standard RB-133/C desk. Operation system is MikroTik Level 3, which means option for WISP client devices. The whole unit was built in the similar case, as GWP-517VE and GWP-217VE. Integrated antenna shows 19 dB gain in the 5GHz band. The package contains complete mounting equipment, also the injector PSW-205 with integrated switch and high-quality triggered power supply 15V/1.7A.
